Mary Gromley, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Embassy of Hillsdale Park.
Mary was born on July 23, 1946, in Spangler, the daughter of the late Kenneth Bailey and Helen (Hoch) Lovelace.
Survived by her five children, Edward Pearce, Barry Pearce, Mary Lou Smith, Matthew Pearce and Robin (Leroy) Krouse; thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren; four siblings, Esther Pendelton, Margie Pennington, Fernily Fletcher and Kenneth Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Austin Leroy Krouse and sister, Joyce Korney and baby boy Pearce.
She was a member of Burnside Church of God. Mary loved dancing and singing. She enjoyed long walks outside and just being in nature and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Burial will be at Burnside Cemetery at a later date.
