Mary M (Stambaugh) Smith

Smith, Mary M., 67 of Portage, formerly  of Cherry Tree, passed away June 1, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 8, 1951 in Spangler, the daughter of George and Mary Jane (Bartlebaugh) Stambaugh. Preceded in death by parents and husband Edward Earl Smith. Survived by siblings Anna Goss of Cherry Tree, Raymond Stambaugh of Arcadia, George Stambaugh of Commodore, Isabel Gearhart of Mahaffey, also several nieces and nephews and cousins. Former member of Wilgus  Wesley Methodist Church. Formerly worked at Big Run Shoe Store and last worked at Hillsdale Nursing Home. Friends received Monday from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Rev. Robert Bartlebaugh officiating. Interment Uniontown United Methodist Cemetery.
