Mary Arlene Pawlikowski, 85 of Northern Cambria, passed away June 18th 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 10, 1935 in Ebensburg, a daughter of the late Tom and Hilda (Bender) Davis. She married Thadeus M. Pawlikowski on June 22, 1957.
Survived by husband, Thadeus; son, Dennis (Michele) of Northern Cambria; daughter, Janet McMurrer (Bob) of DuBois; son, James (Ann) of Aspinwall; son, Gregory (Christine) of Windsor; fifteen grandchildren, David (Erica), Sarah, Julie, Zachary (Amber), Xavier, Maxmilian, Thadeus, Alexander (Kathleen), Nicholas, Sam, Rachel, and Michael; three great grandchildren, Louis, Benjamin and Sloane; two sisters, Trudy Keller of Lynchburg, VA and Priscilla (Bob) Brubaker of Bend, OR; and a brother, Myles (Diane) Davis of Milford, MI.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Davis; a son David; and an infant son.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Secular Franciscan Order, Good Samaritan Food Pantry, Christian Service Committee, Citizens Concerned for Human Life and was a former member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. She was recognized for her humanitarian work in her community, including The Gallitzin Cross Award. Arlene was a graduate of Barnesboro High School. She received a Masters Degree from St. Francis College in Chemistry. Arlene taught at Northern Cambria Catholic School and Northern Cambria High School retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed music, traveling with her husband and she played the organ at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Barnesboro. Arlene lived her life to the fullest and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and family.
Friends will be received Monday, June 22, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 811 Chestnut Ave., Northern Cambria.
