Stossel, Mary R., 81 of Ridge Road Hastings RD. died March 2, 2003 at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born April 1, 1921, in Barnesboro, daughter of Andrew Sr. and Elizabeth (Domonkos) Shea. Preceded in death by parents, husband John, who died in 1989, daughter Evelyn Mae, granddaughter Mary Theresa Stossel, brothers and sisters: Helen Angersbach, Steve, Andrew Jr, John, Joseph, Lyda "Sis" Yacobacci, Leonard "Bob", Francis, Paul "Corky", Julia "Bibby" Novak, and Edward "Jeff". Survived by children John, Atlanta, GA, Edward, East Stroudsburg, Joseph, Winchester, VA, Mary Rishel, Pittsburgh, Dolores Vargo, Redmond,WA, Richard, Tega Cay, SC, Leonard, Altoona, Janet, Gaithersburg, MD, Robert, Hastings RD, Diana Klezek, Portage, Jim, Carlsbad, CA, Rita Link, N. Cambria, and Allen, Hastings RD, with whom she resided, 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Elizabeth Angersbach of Edison, NJ. Member of St Paul's Presbyterian Church and its Women's Association. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Pastor Marty Cartmell. Interment North Barnesboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the American Heart Association, 400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15901, or to St Paul's Presbyterian Church, Chestnut Ave., Northern Cambria, PA 15714. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mrs. Stossel by Long-Contres.
