Mary Vodzak

Vodzak Mary 100, of Northern Cambria, died Sept. 14, 2002 at Miners Hospital, Hastings. Born August 1, 1902 in Star Junction, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Greitzer)Fenick. Preceded in death by parents, husband George in 1982, infant son John, infant granddaughter Denise Vodzak, brothers Nicholas, Paul, Joseph, Stephen, Patrick and Thomas and sisters Julia Fenick and Anna Stackhouse, and daughter- in-law Louise (Myers) Vodzak. Survived by children Joseph of Brookpark, Ohio; Regina Vodzak of Arlington, Va.; Daniel and wife Bertha (Kline) of Falling Water, West Virginia; Mary and husband Kenneth L. Williams of Springfield, Va.; Patricia and husband Joe B. Davis of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Georgia and husband William T. Flansburg of Lima, New York. Also 18 grand. and 25 gr. grand, and brother John Fenick of Marsteller. Member of former St. John the Baptist R.C. Church and it's Altar and Rosary Society and Ladies Guild. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Church, with Committal at St. Johns Cemetery. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mrs. Vodzak by Long-Contres Funeral Home.
