Maude E. Nelson

Nelson, Maude E., 94 of Alverda, died April 19, 2004 at Communities at Indiana Haven, Indiana. Born May 21, 1909, in Coalport, KY, daughter of Charles H. and Minnie (Hunter) Lingar. Preceded in death by parents; husband Robert P. in 1975; brothers Floyd, Walter, and Clyde; and sisters Ellie Meehan, Esther Lydic, Gaynell Penvose, and infant sister Dorothy. Survived by daughter Zetta May Nelson of Milleville, NJ; brother, Charles H. Lingar, Jr. of Sebring, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Rev. Roger Whippo. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
