Michael V. Ewry

                Michael Vernon Ewry, 69 of Dysart passed away Monday evening November 30, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.

                He was born October 10, 1951 in Dayton, Oh, a son of the late Jack and Sadie (Carter) Ewry. He married Bonnie Kimberling on September 22, 1984.

                Surviving are his wife Bonnie; a son, Scott Weiskittel and wife Christa of Ohio; a daughter Sarah Merritts and husband Ricky of Altoona; four grandchildren, Logan, Madison, Hayden and Maylea; a sister Lora Robertson and husband Tom; five nephews, Brent Achtermann and wife Brooke, Greg Achtermann and wife Kristina, Keith Achtermann and wife Britny, Isaiah Ewry and Thad Ewry ; three nieces, Angie, Tosha and Arika; three great nieces, Elaina, Abby and Ava Achtermann; and a great nephew, Greg Achtermann. 

                He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Ewry.

                Michael retired from Smith Transport Ware Housing after 25 years of service.

                Michael was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah witnesses, Altoona. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his friends and family.  

                Funeral services will take place privately.
