Mike A. Soltis

Soltis, Mike A., 84 of Emeigh, died August 24, 2003 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born December 1, 1918, in Emeigh, son of John and Mary (Major) Soltis. Preceded in death by parents; brothers John, Joseph, and Steve; and sister Ann Stanovic. Survived by brother, Andrew of Emeigh. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. U.S. Army Veteran of WWI. Retired from Van Doren Plastic Injecting Machines. Formerly employed with Peale, Peacock and Kerr Coal Company. Friends received from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where vigil for the deceased will be held along with Altar and Rosary service at 3:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Committal at St. John the Baptist R.C. Cemetery.
