Norman B. Hollen

Hollen, Norman B., 86 of Northern Cambria, died March 9, 2005 at Ridgeview Elder Care, Curwensville. Born November 23, 1918 in Barnesboro, son of Thurber and Martha (Kuntz) Hollen. Preceded in death by parents, wife former Vivian L. Collins in 1991, son-in-law A. Raymond Girardi, brothers Richard and William Hollen, and step-brother Charles Michael. Survived by daughter Norma L. Girardi of Curwensville, grandson's Paul T. and wife Michelle, and David J., and gr. Grandchildren Hannah Ray and Anthony Paul. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Retired in 1976 from Barnes and Tucker Coal Co. Member of Umwa Local 1269, Bakerton. Enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Friends received from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria, Rev. Ken Brown. Interment at North Barnesboro Cemetery
