Palma Yannella

Yannella, Palma "Mary", 94 of Northern Cambria, died July 19, 2005, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born April 5, 1911, in Spangler, daughter of Augustine and Mary Josephine (Gallo) Tronzo. Preceded in death by parents, husband Anthony in 1973; son Phillip Yannello; sons-in-law Leo Geneva and Louis Vargo; daughter-in-law Nancy (Greene); sisters Rose Brancato, Thomasina Giacento, and Roxie Luzier; and brother Thomas Tronzo. Survived by these children: Grace Geneva, Eastlake, OH; Antoinette married to Stephen Ludwig, Nicktown; Jennie Vargo, Lyndhurst, OH; Anthony married to Janet (Stuart), East Stroudsburg; Carmen married to Vivian (Marinian), Elmora; Thomas married to Regina (Schlereth), Northern Cambria; James and fiancAC. Barbara Murton, Willoughby, OH; and John, Albany, NY; 22 grandchildren; 17 gr.grandchildren; 3 gr.gr.grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 1 step-gr.grandchild. Also survived by sisters Josephine Wright, Alverda; Jennie Garrigan, Hastings; and Evelyn Glinsky, Patton; and daughter-in-law Iola Yannella, Cherry Tree. Member of Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, St. Benedict. A loving mother and grandmother. Friends will be received 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday. Interment Citizens Cemetery, Cherry Tree. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be sent to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 141 Post Office Road, St. Benedict, PA 15773.
