Patricia A. (West) Murphy

                Patricia A. “Pat, Patty” Murphy, 75 of Cherry Tree passed away Tuesday morning August 21, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

                She was born December 27, 1942 in Washington D. C., the daughter of the late Robert R. and Frances B. (Bowdoin) West. She married William Murphy in August of 2003.

                Surviving are her husband, William; a sister, Samantha West; a niece, Patricia Morris; a great nephew, Sean Morris and a great niece Olivia Morris.

                She was preceded in death by a aunt, Betty West.

                Patty was a graduate of John Harris High School in Harrisburg and received an Art degree from Harrisburg Community College.

                She retired as a secretary after many years of service.

                Patty enjoyed art especially painting and ink work.

                At the request of the family there will be no services.
