Phyllis E. Westover

Westover, Phyllis E., 69 of Westover R.D. died June 24, 2004 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born July 26, 1934 in Westover R.D. daughter of Stanley V. and Mary E. (Fulton) McKee. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers Hugh, Thomas, and Robert. Survived by devoted husband of 51 years, James E., and children Cheryl married to Gary Pierce, Connie married to Ken Brink, and Jeff, all of Westover R.D.; and Lisa married to Derek McLaurin, of Hastings. Also survived by grandchildren Chad Pierce, Shelby Bernecky, Shannon Brink, and Tyler McLaurin; and 2 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Ellen Smith of State College; Carl McKee of Columbus, OH; and Edward McKee of Cranberry Twp.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Former business manager of Cherry Lane Dairy Farm, Westover R.D. Retired Director of Clearfield County Domestic Relations after 35 years. Member of East Ridge-Harmony United Methodist Church, and Hastings Ambulance Association Board of Directors. Former President and member of Domestic Relations Association of Pennsylvania. Phyllis loved her dogs, Pokey, Mitzi, and Cujo. She enjoyed playing tennis and solitaire; gardening; traveling with Jim; and most of all, picnics with her family. Friends received from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, and also from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at East Ridge-Harmony United Methodist Church, Pastor John Dallape.
