POLKA - Anna, 91, Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg, formerly of Watkins, died Feb. 20, 2004, at Laurel Crest. Born June 25, 1912, in Bakerton, daughter of John and Mary (Shutty) Sewalish. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Sylvester, in 1969; daughter, Mildred Keener; brothers, Frank, Wasco, Michael, John, Nick and Andy Sewalish; and sisters, Katherine Grochmal and Mary Spanella. Survived by son, Joseph, of Pleasant Hill, Mo. Also five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren. Sister of Paul and Matt Sewalish, both of Cleveland, Ohio. Member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bakerton. At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Bigelow. Long-Contres Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, is in charge of arrangements.
