Richard Leamer

Leamer, Richard 66, Glen Rock, Pa formerly of Cherry Tree, Pa passed away November 13, 2016 at Harvester Place, Burr Ridge, Illinois. Born September 14, 1950 in Spangler, son of the late Thomas and Grace (Rorabaugh) Leamer.  Survived by son David (Liz) Leamer of Manhattan, IL. Also grandchildren Nathan and Lorelei Leamer. Brother of James (Jeanne) of Stone Mountain, Georgia  and Ray (Glenna) of Fort Mill, South Carolina.  He was a retired teacher from South Eastern School District,  Fawn Grove, Pa. and a U.S. Army Veteran. Rich was a friend to all and enjoyed restoring cars,  working on tractors, attending church and helping others. Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Friends will also be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of  funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Evangelical Church, Pastor Bill Read. Interment East Ridge Cemetery, where  military graveside rites will be conducted. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Calvary Evangelical Church 2922 Sylvis Rd.
