Ronald Beam Shaffer

Shaffer Ronald Beam 43, of Cherry Tree, died December 6, 2004 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born December 25, 1960 in Spangler, son of John Richard and Margaret Nancy (Shepherd) Shaffer. Preceded in death by parents and a brother John "Jackie" Bedford Shaffer. Survived by children Ronald Beam, Jr. and Preston Alan both at home and Tiffany Lynn of Connecticut. Also survived by aunt Martha and uncle Kenneth McKee of Cherry Tree and several other relatives. Friends received Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Long-Contres Funeral Homes, Cherry Tree with Ron Westover officiating. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions are being accepted for the family c/o Ron Westover, 366 Moyer Road, Cherry Tree, PA 15724.
