Rose Marie Markovich

                Rose Marie Markovich, 87 passed away Wednesday evening, December 16, 2020 at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings.

                She was born October 21, 1933 in Spangler, a daughter to the late Mike and Theresa (Nagle) Rogers. She was married to Michael Markovich for 65 years. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2017.

                Surviving are her son, Michael Jay Markovich and wife Sharon of Northern Cambria; two grandchildren, Kelly Lynn Good and husband Seth and Brian Michael Markovich and wife Melanie; five great grandchildren, Gavin, Alivia, Reagan, Thatcher and Simon; and a brother Robert “Buddy” Rogers.

                She was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Paterno and brother, Mickey Rogers.

                Rose Marie was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed bingo, going on bus trips to many casinos. She loved dogs and animals and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

                A memorial service will take place at a later day.
