Sara I. Keith

Keith, Sara I., 77 of Northern Cambria, died February 26, 2003 at home. Born August 27, 1925, in Nanty Glo, daughter of Edward and Mary (Trainer) Horn. Preceded in death by parents, husband Doyle, who died in 1965, son Doyle Jr. "Butch", daughter Roxanne Miller, sisters Carrie Sowers, Ella Mae Simmers, and Alice Graffis, and brothers Elton, and Hesker Horn. Survived by children, Bonnie Laney of Uniontown, Ralph of Northern Cambria, Brian of Cresson, and Mark of St. Benedict, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Pauline Lack of Ebensburg, and Esther Wike of Mundy's Corner. Past President of St. Benedict VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Friends received from noon until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, Rev. Dan Schultheis. Interment McDowell Cemetery. A tree will be presented to the family in living memory of Mrs. Keith by Long-Contres.
