Shirley M. (Hula) Douglas

               Shirley M. Douglas, 81 of Marsteller passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Hamilton Arms Center, Lancaster.

               She was born February 16, 1944, in Marsteller. A daughter of the late Wasal and Sarah (Chappel) Hula.  She married Delmont Douglas; he preceded her in death on June 26, 2018.

               Surviving are five sons, Joseph (Janis) Douglas of Clymer, Scott (Nicole) Douglas of Ebensburg, Mike Douglas of Pittsburgh, Daniel Douglas of Marsteller, and Brian (Katrina) Douglas of Marietta; eleven grandchildren, Deidre Douglas, David Douglas, Randy Eagler, Brittany Brownlee, Amber Miller, Sheena  Miller, Aydin Swander, Christian Swander, Casandra Douglas, Derek Douglas and Brayden Douglas; eleven great grandchildren and two siblings, Russell Hula of Ohio, and Barbara DaBella of Northern Cambria.

               She was preceded in death by a son, David Douglas, siblings, John Hula, an infant brother, and Dorothy Barnosky.

               Friends will be received Monday, March 31, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Barrett Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Cartmell officiating. Committal will be at East Ridge Cemetery.
