Shirley Taylor

               Shirley A. Taylor, 88 of Jonestown, Texas, formerly Northern Cambria, passed away, May 22, 2025, at Double Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care.

               Born December 1, 1936, in Barnesboro, daughter of the late Leonard and Zella (Maines) Hilliard.

               Survived by her son, Dean Scott Taylor and wife Shari of Jonestown, TX; grandchildren, Cheri Vanessa, Jeffrey Scott, Paul Carl, Steven Todd, Kyle Lynn, Grady Brant, Liam Ross Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Shaun Taylor and Christine Girndt and a sister, Ruth Funk of Mentor, OH

               Preceded in death by parents, loving husband of 48 years Paul Taylor, son’s David Paul Taylor and Todd Alan Taylor; and three siblings, Jack, Robert and Howard Hilliard.

               She was a former nurse and had a ceramic business called “Ceramics by Shirley” where she taught ceramics.

       A committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025 at New Washington Cemetery.
