Tammy Louise Yost, 57, of Carrolltown passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center.
She was born February 12, 1963 in Spangler, a daughter of the late George and Grace (Luther) Lowmaster. She married William R. Yost, Sr. on June 29, 2013.
Surviving her are husband, William; three daughters, Brittany Winings, Breanne Mannion ( Sean), Brooke Walker (Companion, Donald Lieb) ; five grandchildren, Chloe and Bentley Winings, Raegan and Adley Walker and Walker Mannion; three step children, William Yost Jr. (Diane), Melissa Mattas ( JT), and Tyler Yost; six step grandchildren, Madison and Charlie Mattas, Luke, Harley, Jayda and Lyla Yost; seven siblings, Adrian Lowmaster ( Martha), Sharon Born (George), Glenn Lowmaster, Rodney Lowmaster, Brent Lowmaster (Grace), Sheila Coffman, and Timothy Lowmaster (Donna); sister- in- law, Dolly Lowmaster and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by brother, Gerald Lowmaster.
Tammy retired in 2014 from the Social Security Administration after 33 years of service.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Post 7783 in St. Benedict, Rembrandt Club, Carrolltown American Legion Post 506, Carrolltown Fire Club, Bakerton Rod and Gun Club, Bakerton Athletic Club, and Patton Slovak Club.
Tammy enjoyed cooking, baking and gambling. She loved going on bike adventures with her husband Bill and looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren every day.
Friends will be received Friday, July 10, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria. A funeral service will take place at 6:00 P.M. with Jim Whited officiating.
