Vernie M. (Baker) Stuchell

                Vernie M. Stuchell, 100 of Cherry Tree, passed away Friday evening June 14, 2019 at home.

                She was born January 23, 1919 in Emeigh, a daughter of the late Elijah and Sarah (Fleming) Baker. She married Earl Stuchell whom preceded her in death.

                Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, William and John Baker; sisters Louise Driver and Ruth Foord; half-brothers, Ord, Dallas and Cloyd Baker; and a half-sister, Vera Evans.

                Vernie was a member of Kinport Assembly of God. She enjoyed traveling to her home in Florida, cooking, baking, going out to eat. She loved taking care of her home and listening to hymns.

                Friends will be received Wednesday June 19, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Kinport Assembly of God in Cherry Tree. Committal will take place at East Ridge Cemetery.
