Viola M. Miller

Miller, Viola M., 84 of Beverly Healthcare - Haida, Hastings, formerly of Northern Cambria, died May 12, 2005 at Haida. Born January 26, 1921 in Barnesboro R.D., daughter of Albert and Mary Agnes (Byrnes) Benden. Preceded in death by parents, husband E. Paul in 1990, and brother Lerman Edward Benden. Survived by sisters Marie Hambley, Hastings, and Agnes Gettas, Ecorse, MI, and several nieces and nephews. Retired cafeteria worker for Northern Cambria School District, where she was fondly known as "Grandma". Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, and former member of the Presbyterian Women's Organization. Member of PSSER. She loved her pets Truffels, Suzette, and Montel. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Marty Cartmell. Interment at Forest Lawn, Johnstown.
