Wanda J. Gibbons

Gibbons, Wanda J., 54 of Cherry Tree, died May 18, 2005, at her home. Born February 16, 1951, in Spangler, daughter of Elzie and Marian (Wholaver) Woodside. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by father, of Cherry Tree; husband of 26 years Jerauld; children Lola, Commodore; Melinda, Cherry Tree; and Karen, Uniontown. Also survived by grandchildren Brandon, Josh, Jordan, Matthew, and Ernest. Sister of Crissie Rue, Alverda; Judy Roland, Virginia; Mary Lou Wilson, Karen Keith, and Elzie Woodside, Jr., all of Cherry Tree. Formerly employed at Barnesboro Shirt Factory. Member of Cherry Tree Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary. Friends received from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon Friday, at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Cherry Tree, with Laura McCombie officiating. Interment at Harmony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for the family c/o Karen Keith, 4007 Stiffler Hill Road, Cherry Tree, PA 15724.
