William J. Stavish

William J. Stavish, 75 of Hastings passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg.

He was born May 9, 1945 in Spangler, the son of the late John and Catherine (Ferrence) Stavish. He married Pamela A. Bush on May 1, 1990. He was previously married to Marge Stotsky, whom preceded him in death on July 4, 1986. 

Surviving are his wife, Pam; a son, Joseph Stavish and wife, Tracy; two grandchildren, Riley and Lex Stavish; a sister, Betty Stavish; a nephew, John and girlfriend, Danielle all of Northern Cambria; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Marge; a brother, John Stavish and a sister-in-law, Nancy Stavish.

Bill was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. He was a former member of the Barnesboro Slovak Club, Hastings VFW and Hastings Fire Club.

The family would like to thank the staff at Cambria Care Center for all the care they have provided to Bill.

Services will take place privately. Interment will be made at St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings.
