William “Bull” Wetzel, Sr., 68 of Burnside passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024.
He was born January 8, 1956, in Spangler, a son to the late Max and Mary Elizabeth (Davis) Wetzel, Sr.
Surviving is a daughter, Paula (Justin) Lowmaster; thirteen siblings, Max (Shirley) Wetzel, Betty Deyarmin, John (Marlene) Wetzel, Sr., Don (Susie) Wetzel, Deb Weaver, Patricia Mongomery, Joan (John) Cavallo, Mary (William) King, Beverly (James) Barrett, Regina (Barry) Weaver, Violet (John) Barrett, Kenneth (Mary Ann) Wetzel, Ron (Shawna) Wetzel and thirty-six nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a loving wife for 49 years Mary, a son, William, Jr., and siblings, Constance Deyarmin, Robert, Roberta, Kathleen, Harold, Bobby, Lawrence Wetzel and three brother in laws, Edgar Deyarmin, Larry Weaver and Rick Mongomery.
Bull was a member of the VFW post #343 and the American Legion post #435, Glen Campbell where he was a sergeant- at-arms and . He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his dogs Ruger and Sadie.
Friends will be received Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will take place at 6:30 p.m. with Scott Kephart officiating.
