Yvonne Poliyak Deyarmin

Deyarmin, Yvonne Poliyak, 79 of Cherry Tree, died June 11, 2004 at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born May 1, 1925, in Smethport, daughter of Harry and Catherine (Smith) McKee. Preceded in death by parents, 1st husband George Poliyak in 1953, 2nd husband Clair Deyarmin in 1968, son Martin C. Poliyak in 1974, and son-in-law John Mattis in 1995. Survived by children, Nancy Mattis, Natrona Heights; Larry Poliyak, Glen Campbell R.D. 1; Kathy married to Dennis Boring, and Robin married to Roger Rummel, both of Cherry Tree; and Bryan Deyarmin, Alexandria, VA; grandson Todd Houser whom she raised as a son; 12 other grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Charles McKee, Cleveland, OH; half-brother Samuel Geisel, Dale City, VA; and half-sister Sandra "Honey" Phillips, West Virginia. Formerly employed as a preparation cook for the Sheraton and Holiday Inns, Indiana for 15 years. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Long-Contres Funeral Home, Inc., Cherry Tree, where funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Rev. Robert Kurka. Interment Burnside Cemetery.
